Solved! The position of the rest can impede the beaming area / La position du silence peut gêner la zone de liaison . (1). The required rest is first created as a note / Le silence est d'abord écrit sous forme de note . (2). The note is then transformed into a rest (I use custom keyboard shortcut 0 ["Pressure time = zero"] ) La note est ensuite transformée en silence (j'utilise un raccourci clavier 0 [aucun appui] ). (3). The rest is then ticked as "beamed" / Le silence est alors considéré comme « lié ». (4). The rest is finally moved into position / Le silence est enfin positionné.
Is this the correct typography?
The note in measure 1 with two tails to the left and one tail to the right has an internal duration of 10080. The note in measure 4 with two tails to the left and one tail to the right has an internal duration of 20160.
Does a human player always interpret this typography correctly ?
