[solved] Linux Cinnamon microscopic Font Size

Hello! Hope this is the right place for this question, if not, please advise. Just installed Linux MInt-Cinnamon. Downloaded H.A. - which I've been using for many years on various versions of Windows, but here on Linux the font sizes are way too small - almost illegible. I've tried several 'solutions' - tweaking the system - both from the visual preferences menu and/or the Terminal, but absolutely no joy so far. Also, from inside the General Setup : I managed to increase the size of fonts in a couple of places but they were way too big for the spaces allocated... I'd be really greatful for any ideas here? Thanks for any clues!!

Hello, Are the palette icon also too small? If so, go to global setup > Screen, there is a cursor to change global zoom. 125% or 150% should help. Did you tried variousthemes in Harmony global prefs?

Hi! When you say : "global setup > Screen, there is a cursor to change global zoom. ", are you referring to Linux settings or H.A. settings? Also by 'pallette icons, do you mean the ones on the left-hand side of the H.A. screen, for various stave-related actions? Thanks for your help!

Yes, 100% HA settings. The palette are a set of icons you can show or hide using the Window menu, unless you are using the Dock (plenty of icons on flashy colored background on top of screen). The icon on the left of the staves are also sizable by another setting. There is a recent subject on this forum for that.

Oh, worker of miracles!!! Yes, that was it! Profuse thanks! In the 'screen' menu (so small I could hardly see it!!) I clicked on '200%' and it worked a treat! So I'm now going on to try to find the topic on the Left-hand icons (to the left of the staves). So, thanks for saving me!!!
