Il semble que la prononciation " "thousand" en anglais britannique soit incorrecte. j'ai écrit pour l'instant thous-and[sand].
Est-ce qu'un anglophone pourrait vérifier et donner la prononciation correcte ?

Il est certain que en prononciation UK, et sur deux syllabes, HA donne un peu n'importe quoi. Je pense que c'est un mot d'une seule syllabe.

La prononciation de l'anglais, avec ses mots issus de nombreuses langues anciennes et modernes, est d'une complexité remarquable.
Ainsi, le th dans thousand n'est pas aussi « explosif » que dans le mot the .
Le mot sand (fr. sable) se prononce avec un « s » doux, mais la même consonne dans thousand se prononce avec un « z » dur. 
La voyelle dans -sand ressemble davantage à celle de the.
The pronunciation of English, with words derived from many old and modern languages, is wonderfully complex.
Thus the th in thousand is not as "explosive" as in the word the.
The word sand is pronounced with a soft s — but the same letter in thousand is pronounced with a hard z.
The vowel a is more like the e in the.

À mon oreille, la deuxième interprétation de « thousand » (mesure 9) sonne légèrement différente de la première, peut-être à cause de la hauteur.
Avec les corrections Sampa (ci-jointes), elle sonne désormais acceptable.
Le mot « though » (=although/bienque) nécessitait également une correction Sampa pour « th » plus dur.
To my ear, the second rendition of thousand (bar 9) sounds slightly different to the first — maybe because of the higher pitch.
With the Sampa corrections (attached) it now sounds acceptable.
The word "though" (=although) also needed Sampa correction for a harder "th".
