Obsolete scripts

There is an overwhelming (fr. accablante) list of scripts in H.A.'s menu. Following multiple H.A. updates, are several of these scripts now obsolete and could be deleted from the next issue ? For example; > Performance > Unique instrument for each staff (> Interprétation > Instrument unique pour chaque portée) For example; > Notation > Notes > Parenthesis around head (Notation > Notes > Tête de note entre parenthèses)

I don't understand why both script syou mentionned are out of date. I know there are some scripts that doesn't work well in all conditions, e.g. work on normal selection but not on range selection. There is a huge work to check all scripts, update them or trash them. To remove a script, this has to been removed from the website, the installation package, but may remain in the user's scripts directory. To minimize the number of added scripts, and to use a common trunk on most of them, I added them to the swiss knife menu I also suggested to create submenus for Notation > Rests, Notation > Texts, Notation > Ornaments... and this will need to move scripts (distributed and user) after an update. Before that, I'd like to check all old scripts (20 years ago for some of them)... but first I'm working on new scripts

| I should have said redundant/superfluous/no longer required rather than obsolete/out-of-date. The function of both the examples mentioned are already performed by H.A. Note options has a check-box to add parenthesis. Duplicated staves are now already independently controlled in the mixer. Yes, it would take a lot of time to check each script to see what exactly it does, and whether it was still required.

OK, I understand better now. If you found such other scripts, this topic is here to collect them. That will help me either refresh them or ask for removal. Example of update : instead of adding parenthesis as text, the script check the parenthesis checkbox. People may have attach a shortcut to this script.
