What's new ?

October the 22nd, 2008

This page describes the improvements of Melody and Harmony Assistant.
How does our version notation system work?
The version looks like this :
             'X.Y.Z'.
  • When we make a major change we add one to X.
  • When a new feature is added, we add one to Y
  • When a bug is fixed or a cosmetic detail is corrected, we add one to Z
Melody version 1.0 matches Harmony version 3.0.
If you own Melody, subtract 2 from the Harmony's major version number to know the changes made in your version.

Harmony Assistant 9.4

Melody Assistant 7.4

April-October 2008

This version of Harmony Assistant (v9.4) and Melody Assistant (v7.4) introduces many important new features and improvements. In particular, Harmony Assistant now manages the notion of "views". A view is a different way of displaying a same document. They enable to display only some of the staves, to work on them, and to select a page setup independent of the other views.
For instance, if the document contains an orchestral score, you can create a view for each instrument, so that each performer could receive only the score that matches his instrument.

The new features are listed in detail below.

News
