Troubleshooting

I am under Windows 95, 98 or ME, and the application frequently crashes. What can I do?

- If all is frozen and needs you to reboot the computer, check whether your display card is of ATI brand (and more precisely ATI Rage). If it is the case, the problem comes from a display driver malfunction. Go to the manufactuer's site and download and install the most recent version of the driver.

- If the application generates a "crash.log" file, open it using a text editor (Notepad). If you read a line starting with "Exception #c0000090 at address ...", it comes from a malfunction of your printer driver.
Go to the manufactuer's site and download and install the most recent version of the driver.
If it still doesn't work, then download this little program: FPUPatch and run it. It will make Melody or Harmony Assistant avoid this problem to occur again.

None of the solutions above is working. What can I do ?

Contact the tech support. If you can, use the "?" menu (Windows) or the system menu (Macintosh), then the "Internet>Send us an e-mail" option. Otherwise, send a regular e-mail to  support@myriad-online.com.
Explain clearly what happens, and attach if necessary the "crash.log" file that has been generated (Windows) or a score that highlights the problem.
