Bonjour,
Cordialement, DedenK.

De quoi s'agit-il au juste?

I had proposed this feature originally a couple of years ago.  I think it would be great for folks who write Zappa-ish or modern classical music.  It would be great a learning tool too.

I think this feature would spur interest for new customers as well.

Yes PLEASE!!
I use quite  a lot of tuplets in my works.
Also, might I suggets the creation of a special pallette on which to store frequently used tuplets instead of heaving to double click the tuplet-button each time I need to change from 3:2 to 5:4 etc.
The pallette would then contain a separate button for each tuplet I would like to use.
I hope my suggestion is in line with the topic or should I submit it as a new one?

SmileyGood luck Olivier with the hard work on the tuplets!!

I think there is a need to sort out the basic  appearance of triplets first so that tails are the default instead of the beam that is currently the case.

Efectivamente. Fundamental. :  ;)
Pero las 4 estrellas...  de dificultad   :-[

I don't see the need for this feature you can make complex tuplets already (1/4 1/8, 1/8 1/8 1/16 16) don't see the need for t his myself

I think it's a good idea and voted "Yes."
There was also a post about grouping beamed notes differently to the automatic way they're currently beamed in MA, but it appears to have been deleted. I thought it was an excellent idea. Has it been accepted?

Cordialement,

Oswaldo González

Make the code reursive and you could have tuplets inside tuplets inside tuplets...ad infinitum.

Not something human performers wold have a lot of use for, but electronic composers might welcome it.
