Hello everyone, newbie here.

Can anyone tell me how to identify what the little red/yellow warning triangle refers to on certain pages of an imported pdf and (more importantly) how to correct it?

Also, how do I make the play back start from a particular bar rather than always starting from the beginning?

Many thanks in anticipation.

To have full information about errors : Display menu>Recognition results (or Ctrl+K) Then, when you place the mouse pointer over a warning sign on the score, a small popup message will tell you what's wrong.
To correct a symbol, right click on it and choose from the popup toolbar that shows.
As I always use Harmony Assistant to play the music, I have never tried to start elsewhere than at the beginning in PDF2M (sorry). But, you can use the backward/forward arrows to skip some parts. Moreover, if you do Performance>Force played measures, you can set the first bar to be played. To have the bar/measure numbers visible, hit Ctrl+N (it's a toggle command). If you want to go back to the regular way of playing bars (i.e. from the beginning) do Performance>Force played measures and use the "default button" at the bottom left of the window.

Here is a screen copy of what I explained earlier. I wanted to to play the second part (Larghetto) whose first bar is #129. After setting Performance>Force played measures, PDF2M actally starts with that part, skipping the first 128 bars.
I agree it isn't so easy as a click into a bar, but it works.

Actually, Babu, I now realise that you can simply drag the mouse across the bars you want to hear and hit "Play".  That works, too.

True, I should have mentioned it, but it's a bit cumbersome when you have a lot of bars (on several pages) to be played.
