Complicated simplification

The chord D9 has a simple name for a chord of 5 notes (D F# A C E).
 
But notice that if we make the chord simpler by removing note D, the name becomes more complicated — F#m7b5

Or Am6 using inversion : Am6/F# but this notation is not handeled by HA. One of my scripts handles this
