Opening .ftm and/or .mus files

Hello to all,

I've been going through some old folders and files and found out that I have a bunch of transcriptions of jazz bass walking lines for a number of songs and they're all contained in files with a ".ftm" or a ".mus" extension.

I don't think that there's any free software to view these with, but I think one of your programs will. What's the best (i.e., cheapest) option if I just want to view the contents of these files? Thanks in advance for any assistance.

There have been numerous music programs using .mus extension in their early days, without any format compatibility.

.fmt is apparently used by Famitracker which is free (at least a basic version).

.fmt might also be readable by Finale, even Finale Notepad (the free subset) as well as .mus

Harmony Assistant reads Finale .mus files (at least early versions)

You might want to attach a small sample of both fomats.

He should check his own grammar first!
