I purchased Apple Logic 9 in the spring and have been working with it since. I haven't dealt with the notation part of it to any extent (and think I'd prefer using HA for that purpose for the present) but simply imported the MIDI export, if I have it, from HA for the most part.
Also, since I wrote last (some time ago), I've upgraded to Lion but can basically not open HA with the licenses I have even though I created a small partition for Snow Leopard. Yes, I tried opening it using Rosetta and still no-dice.
So my questions are:
1. I'm quite sure I need to get a new license for HA but what about Virtual Singer for which I have an old license and Gold Base 2 for which I have the CD?
2. I generally prefer the Logic samples but can Gold Base be used in Logic?
3. I still need samples for solo and ensemble strings "sul ponticello" and maybe "sul tasto" and though many seem to prefer Vienna Symphony Library, they aren't very helpful about this even though I joined their forum and put in the question. It just seems to be overkill so far!
I don't know if Muddle has any of these patches.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I will put in links to mp3s of my Logic files when I get a chance.
