Hello,

Having just changed to MacTel from PPC, I downloaded and tried the 2.2b1 universal version of OMeR, but at startup it says "Bad resource file: DLOG 2306 not found" and quits.

However, wanting to try it by updating from the 2.1.1 PPC version, I downloaded this, and it (the PPC version) worked without any further effort!

Best regards,

Thanks for your report.
Did you tried to delete the existing version before installing the new one?

I'm trying to install this on Mac OS 10.6, Snow Leopard, and when I run the installer, it tells me I need Rosetta emulation installed. I don't have Rosetta any more, is the download not a Universal binary ?

I deleted the old version but the installer is still not working for Mac 10.8, did I understand correctly that for Intel Macs the PPC version should be used? Will this situation remain like this ? For how long s.v.p.? Should I wait for a reply or will the link on your web site to download the Mac Intel version be fixed soon?I also just tried the link in your post at the start of this thread but it didn't work on Intel Mac OS 10.8

This is absolutely not an installer message.
Read : you use a Windows code on Mac version.

I am sorry but that is what your installer said, should I tell Mastercard to give back my bit of money? While very kind of you to make your amazing software very inexpensive if it doesn't work why keep it?
Please be so kind as to reply with a solution for this problem with Mac programs with Windows installers.

Please aaccept my sincerest apologies, silly of me not to think that of all people you of course would be the one to know the truth. I must assume this is another 'Joke'from Apple, they have gone crazy since STeve Jobs died. It looks like that, and typical of apple to flash it at me during the install, which doesn't work on my new desktop Mac Mini, I might be able to put it on my laptop but I have Harmony Assistant on the Mini and I can wait until you feel you must design an installer for the newest Mac OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion. This new OS has a security setting that allows ONLY downloads and installs directly from the ÁPP Store' there is an option to allow all-which of course I do, and it keeps jumping back to the default setting of APP Store only. Apple has screwed this up and I will just wait and see if you decide to make a special version that doen't work on PPC Mac's and I have already bought the license so if a ML version comes out I can try it at once, again sorry for my mistake.

I have it disabled, don't waste too much of your time on this as HA/VS work beautifully and I only have one more score to scan-I will give Smart Score[which I already had] to scan that one score. Since I do have Gatekeeper turned off why would that strange icon appear, I realize that you would know if it was from Myriad and you said it was not. Apple makes things more difficult every day it seems. I will possibly try Omer again when ML[10.8] starts being updated, but that won't happen with Gatekeeper off so it looks like turning it on and off will be a common thing, at least until Apple realizes that we don't all want Mom standing behind us and correcting us .Thanks again for your kind help.
