I'm recording Midi files using a Midi harmonica, the Lekholm DM48, in Reason. I then load them into Harmony Assistant to add harmonica tablature.
I don't know why, maybe it's the patch I use in Reason, or a factor of the breath control on the DM48, but the notation display in HA adds a lot of horizontal zigzag lines under the notes. This comes out in the graphical export also (see attachment).
I found that these are indicating a vibrato effect, and the Midi file plays with vibrato (rather strange when on the default Piano sound!). I don't want vibrato to sound or be shown on the screen. I found I can click on individual notes to remove it in the Note Options dialog, but I can't see how to remove this effect on the whole tune.
I'm sure it must be possible - please advise. Thanks!
I suggest this procedure : 1- select the whole staff (click in the left margin with the lasso tool) 2- Edit>Appearance>Ceneral 3- in the window, select the "Effects" tab 4- In the table, choose the effect you want to remove (should be on the 3rd line) 5- Select the "Delete" radio button and OK. That should do the trick.
