Hello,
A very first pre (alpha) version of Harmony Assistant in 64 bit for Windows is available for download. We invite everyone interested in it to download, install and test it.
These last few months, we worked hard on this version, to make it provide exactly the same features than the 32 bit version, the only one available till now.
This alpha version is here:
Harmony Assistant for Windows 64 bit - v 9.8.2 alpha 1
If you experience any problem while using this version, please ensure first that this problem doesn't occur in the current public version (32 bit). If it does, please use the problem reporting procedures from the public version.
Thanks in advance for your tests. For statistics purposes, if you don't encounter any problem while testing this alpha version, please drop us a line to tell us

Please read this before starting
Known issues on v 9.8.2 alpha 1 - x64
The "2004" icon set makes the program crash at startup
Workaround:
. Run the public (32 bit) version of Harmony Assistant
. Open "Configuration > Global setup", "Icon set" topic
. Select anything but "2004" in the "Icon set" field
. Quit the public (32 bit) version
. Run the alpha (64 bit) version
The uninstall process does nothing
This will be fixed in the next alpha-version. In the meantime, to manually uninstall, delete the "HarmonyBeta" folder in "C:\Program Files"
Icons in staff margin in page mode are in low contrast
This will be fixed in the next alpha-version. These icons are fully functional though.

I forgot completely that I had the 2004 icons installed, so ran into that bug. I clicked yes to "Do you wish to delete the album," and it seems to have deleted my preferences. At any rate, they are gone.
I understand that the preferences are stored in a directory called "ACAMPREF," but so far, a search of my hard disk is failing to turn it up. Where should I be looking? I am running Windows
10, alas!

Je n'ai pas tout compris 
Vu que j'essaie de démarrer dans un w10 où il n'y a pas HA, juste un Melody Player, je n'ai pas de possibilité de choisir des icônes.
Il y a bien un ACAMPREF, je luis fais quoi, à part les gros yeux ?

La meilleure solution me paraît être la suivante : télécharger et installer une version de HA classique de démonstration. On doit pouvoir accéder aux préférences générales (menu configuration) et donc au jeu d'icônes (on choisit n'importe quel autre thème, Aqua par exemple) . Ensuite, installer HA 64 bits.

Bonjour
partant de là, j'ai juste recopié le fichier general.cfg après avoir modifié les chemins de jeu d'icônes. HA démarre à condition de refuser la remise à zéro.
Par contre il me demande le n° de licence, ça vous le fait aussi ?

Quelques précisions:
- Si vous avez une version publique (32 bits) installée sur la même session, les préférences sont partagées. Les modifications effectuées avec la version 64 bits affectent la version 32 bits, et vice versa
- Le numéro d'enregistrement de la version 32 bits fonctionne sur la version 64 bits jusqu'à début octobre. Si vous ne l'avez pas entré, la version 64 bits est alors en mode démonstration
- Si vous n'avez que la version 64 bits installée, elle ne pourra pas démarrer à cause du problème de jeu d'icône décrit plus haut. Dans ce cas, vous pouvez appliquer la procédure suivante:- Dans la barre de tâches de Windows, dans le champ Rechercher ou Exécuter, entrez:
%APPDATA%
et appuyez sur la touche Entrée
- Dans la fenêtre qui s'ouvre, entrez dans le dossier ACAMPREF puis Myriad
- Décompactez le fichier joint à ce message et copiez le fichier GENERAL.cfg obtenu dans le dossier ACAMPREF\Myriad
- Lancez Harmony Assistant 9.8.2 alpha 1 - 64 bit

Merci beaucoup, Jean-Louis. Avec ton aide j'ai trouvé le dossier, hélas! mes préférences sont toutes perdues. C'était ma faute, j'ai mal compris la question posée par le logiciel. Au moins je sais maintenant comment préserver mes préférences à l'avenir! Merci encore une fois.
Je me demande toujours pourquoi Windows 10 ne trouve pas le dossier ACAMPREF, car je le vois là sur le disque dur.
