Edition courbes parametre midi

Bonjour

Min: 0
Max: 127
Séquence MIDI: B0 01 ll

où
B0 = canal midi 1
01 = controlleur midi 1 (modulation)
ll = caractères de fin de séquence

Mes questions:

Hallo Stephane,  you have the settings correct for modulation on the image you attached.

When you click on the Green symbol and select "midi specific a" the staff should appear with notes greyed out, ( in the same way as volume curves etc.)
There should be a  grey text name on the staff saying "MIDI-specific-a"
 Is this happening?
Is it your problem that the faded note staff does not appear when you click as described above?

If the staff IS greyed out then you just click to set your curve values.   The clicks are normally set to join as lines.  The effect is like a graph line along the staff.

To set the curve for expression instead, the code is   Bn 0B ll.

By co-incidence, I have just been trying both of these codes and they seem to work.
Your midi instrument or device will have to be able to respond to the CC curves.

I hope that was  a help.

Hello muddle

The issue is when I entered parameters in "Edit curves" setup window and then I go back to click the green symbol, there is no "MIDI-specific-a" menu listed in the dropdown menu.
So the curve can't be selected and displayed.

That is curious Stephane.
I have vague memory of something like that happening to me recently.
I notice that in the first part of the gif  there is no midi specific listed there either.

Oh.  I just realized ...  you have to set the staff output to a midi port to have midi-specific showing in the drop down menu.

I think it's as simple as that.

Try that ... and rejoice exceedingly!

You're right muddle
Indeed no midi output was selected.
Now it's ok, all "Midi-specific" menus are listed in the dropdown menu.
Works fine!

Thank you very much.
