Finding instructions for VS use?

Friends - I am an advanced finale user but not at all advanced with the Myriad software. I need to create a rehearsal track that plays lyrics. (I've done lots of them in Myriad with just instruments, but without singer) If I create a voice line in finale can I export a file that Myriad will read that includes lyrics? If not, if I import the .mus or music xml and then add lyrics, will medody or harmony assistant automatically include those lyrics in Virtual Singer? If this is all in a tutorial, please direct me there. Thanks

Signor Andante, I'm in a situation which is similar to yours, except that the score editor I'm familiar with is Encore, not Finale. Obviously you need, next to Harmony or Melody Assistant, the "Virtual Singer" add-on software installed (and purchased if testing is successful). HA was written to import Encore and Finale scores; that works well with Encore (with a few limitations for Encore V5) but the day I tried to import a Finale score it didn't work. When there are lyrics in the Encore score, they are generally well imported. You have two alternate ways: - export/import in xml if Finale exports lyrics in that format (I think it does, but Encore doesn't). HA should then open the file without problem ans show the lyrics correctly. - print the score with PDFCreator or any similar software, and have it "scanned" with Myriad's PDFtoMusic software; it's another program and license, but the demo version can export one page of a score for free). In PDFtoMusic, you can export to HA format; with a good input score the HA version is very neat (but you may need to add what isn't printed!). Obviously you can import the notes only (even from a Midi source) and add the lyrics by hand, but you then you need a quite good command of the lyric input method. Don't hesitate to ask further advice for later détails.
