Thank you so much, Muddle for attempting to un-muddle this one.
As you can see from my reply to Tremolo, I'm trying to fathom this, whilst at the same time endeavouring to maintain productivity!

Hi HumbleMaha... I couldn't quite believe it, but I confirm that on my system, to get a whole file midi export that will re-import to HA I have to:- Select All, set delay 0. Undo that, then set all delays to zero again. Then set all pressure times to 100...then export mid.
For interest I attach the actual time positions I get for the first notes on the sop1 staff when exported to midi from the original file without any process.
It is clearly just past the beat.
There was a similar delay shown on another piano roll sequencer... though it had slightly different hr, min sec times.
If I manually adjusted the 1st note time :- 00045:01:042 , to 000:45:01:000 ( i.e. put it exactly on the beat) the file imported that note position correctly into HA.
For normal import HA could probably handle this timing shift with quantization .
But why would HA midi export be note delayed? Is it just my system?

Merci pour la précision! En fait, je suis de nationalité anglaise, donc anglophone: j'imagine que ma langue de prédilection devrait être l'anglais.. C'est ainsi que je continuerai par la suite.. mais je comprends assez le français pour ne pas avoir à saisir le dico à chaque fois

Yes, I am in a way comforted to think that there is some sort of conundrum here..
And if for the moment, there are no obvious answers, I do at least thank you (and the others) for your moral support!

Dans celle dans laquelle nous sommes capables d'exprimer ce que nous voulons dire. Par expérience la "version" est plus facile que le "thème". Je sais lire en au moins 5 langues mais je ne sais écrire qu'en deux, trois s'il le faut vraiment.
Notre ami Oliveira lit très bien le français par exemple et nous écrit en castillan, et ça ne pose pas vraiment de problème quand les gens sont de bonne volonté. Et s'ils sont de mauvaise volonté, peu importe la langue....
