I have some band music with lyrics on just one staff. I can't simply copy the lyrics onto all staves for printing because the lyrics re-align themselves to the notes in all the different staves which does not work at all (all parts are completely different).
How can I get the lyrics to print on every staff when I print each staff individually (I don't want them at the end, I need them below each bar of music)?
1- Duplicate the staff with lyrics (Staff>Duplicate staff) 2- Select this new staff 3- Apply Edit>Appearance General Invisibles rests: Yes Display Scale : 0
You have now a staff with all the symbols invisibles and the lyrics show and in sync.
Merge this staff with the staff you want.
You will got a staff with symbols displayed, lyrics displayed but out of sync of course.
