Exporting Wav with GPO 4

I am using Garritan Personal Orchestra 4. It does not work inside of HA and I have to use a midi yoke. I am wondering if there is any way to export a Wav file that will use the aria player soft synth. When I export to Wav now it uses the HA synth. I have a feeling the answer is no but I thought I would check.

Hi   RMA, I understand that the "export to wav" in HA is only designed to operate with the inbuilt sound base.

However ...
the GPO4 manual talks about the standalone mode being able to  render an imported  midi file to .wav "offline".
Which would mean exporting your HA work as a midi file,  then importing that file into ARIA for rendering.
How complete and accurate to the original that would be I do not know.

It may be possible for you to  do the same as I do with a standalone library.
That is, I record all audio output,  whether external midi, library or HA digital, while HA plays the file.

The only problem I found at first was with the priority of the sound library preventing the recorder from operating properly.
It may be caused by  the ASIO used with my standalone library ( as you might find also with ARIA)  or it may be a claim on available memory that the library uses to ensure its sound production,   but  whatever the cause, it was necessary to close the library and start my recorder actually recording before I re-opened the library player for a final "take".
Once the recorder had established its priority and functionality it could be stopped and from then on all sound sources could function together and be recorded.

A recorder which itself used ASIO,  was slightly better in that  the recorder only had to be opened ( and not recording) before starting the library.
( but the  first recorder was nicer to use so I went back to it!)

Sorry I can't be more help.

Good luck.    Muddle

Thanks for the reply. The problem is that I am actually using some instruments from the HA sound base as well ie. rhythm section. I guess I will have to import into my DAW for a final rendering and export. I think HA is a great program, especially for the price. But I do wonder if it will ever integrate GPO.
