Adjusting margins in bars

Hello friends
When right-clicking on the ruler and selecting "Change bar widths", and then making changes to the left and right margins, is it possible to apply this to ALL bars in the work? When using lyrics, it is very useful, for example, to adjust the right margin to somewhere between 5 and 15 to ensure that the lyrics/text do not overlap into the next bar.
And while we're discussing this ... is it possible to adjust the margins (the inverted red pyramids) while in Page Mode of Engraver Mode in HA? I can view the ruler and manually change the bar widths, but it would be useful to be able to adjust the margins as while in Page Mode of Engraver Mode (the red tabs do not show on the ruler in E P mode).

Before editing the bar, make a global selection (either click in the left margin of the staff, that is before the beginning of the line, or simply type Ctrl+A) Then you can apply the changes to the bar margins. Yet, make sure that the first box of the edit window (about the scale) is not checked.

Are you sure ? On my machine, as long as the ruler is visible (Ctrl+T if necessary), the margin tabs are visible too, whether the engraver's mode is on or off. They also show when I am not in page mode. Simply, if the bar margins are set to zero, the tab is just above the line showing the bar width and so, it is very hard to catch with the mouse.

Thanks for both these replies. Have now adjusted the bar margins successfully.
As regards the second question, Ctrl+T did the trick - everything now showing, which will be very useful when preparing the score for printing - thanks again.
