Seriously: I recommand you buy both Harmony Assistant AND Virtual Singer. Not expansive at all for what they can do.

I have dabbled with Sibelius, Finale and other programs each of which cost many times more than HA. Given my time over again I wouldn't waste it on other progs I'd go straight for Harmony.
You get the added advantage of a very helpful and knowledgeable community who bend over backwards to help solve problems.
In the end I hope you find whatever it is you are looking for.

I was disappointed from the Melody Assistant's print overlay, but I didn't try Harmony Assistant yet, which actually solved the problem.
More reason to remove that overlay in MA, I think...
Anyway, maybe I buy HA.
