Edit rules:alternate tuning?

I tried to use the meantone tuning but without instructions it caused every note to jump up or down an octave-useless as is. How do I stop the tuning choice from changing the notes?

Thanks Olivier, I followed the instructions on page 124: select "edit rules", clicked "load set", opened the alternate tunings folder and chose meantone.lex, and clicked OK.There are many options in that window but I have not yet reached that chapter in the Manual, so I checked the boxes which seemed to be the right ones and Voila!-all the notes had changed pitch and octaves-the melody was no longer there. I fixed my mistake by closing the document and asking NOT to save the changes, I then was able to re-open the Aria as it had been before the Alternate tunings gamble. I must go to work in half an hour so I will see any reply you may post tomorrow, thanks very much for the help. Sorry that I am not your ideal customer.

I followed the same instructions and couldn't reproduce what you describe. Please e-mail me the score on which you try to apply the rule set. (olivier@myriad-online.com)

Hello, I have recently reported what looks to be the same issue to general support. Will forward to Olivier too.
