How make notes play on certain repeats only

In Harmony Assistant, is it possible, within the same bar, to have certain notes that play only on the first repeat, and certain other notes that play only on the second repeat?

Thank you, Nicou, for your excellent detailed explanation. That is exactly what I needed. In fact, you have answered two of my question-threads in a single reply!

I have tried the procedure supplied above by Nicou59 on a two-stave piano part, but it does not work correctly for me. My intention was that the blue voice should play on the first time, and the red voice should play on the repeat. But, in the attached sample (HA 9.4.7c), the blue voice plays on the second time instead of the first, and the red voice plays both times. What am I doing wrong, or is this a bug in HA?

| Hi Robin, I've tried your file. First of all, I've de-mix the two voices staff and got two staves. Then I applied differents forces as you and Nicou59 mentioned. I've replaced the first two notes of each bar on the second staff by a silence, just to hear clearly what's happening. The result is quite good but the second bar of the first staff doesn't sound the second time. For the moment I don't know why. May be this is a bug ... Here is your modified score. You can select the two first staves and re-mix Regards.

kedekero, thank you for your efforts, but I am really seeking to understand why the sample score I posted previously is not working correctly. I need to use this feature in more general contexts. Is it a bug in HA? Or is it something I need to do differently? If so, what is it that I need to do?

| Yes the same question remains for me: is it a bug ? For the moment I think "yes" because nobody responds to this thread after a week! So may be you will have to alert Myriad team about this? And I think it's very important to make it work !

If I understand well you want the blue notes played first time and the red second time. See sample in attachment. The Kedekero sample don't work because the dynamic was set to 20% instead of 0% Best regards

Hi Robin, reading back your thread, may be I misunderstood your goal: You want the blue notes to play the first run and not to play the second run. You want the red notes to play the second run and not to play the first run. Is it right? Your file "Test_tacets.myr" isn't clear about that. For a human player it's more natural to play back all the notes with differents dynamics. ... Cheers [modification du post 13/11/09 21:16] I remove this question: to re-entry with a tacet could be a good trick.
