Insert a bar in an existing piece

Hello, working with HA 9, I have encountered a problem, of which I would like to know if there is a solution: when I insert one or more bars in a piece all notes are shifted to the right, but added objects like '<' (crescendo) and '>' (diminuendo) and 'ff' (fortissimo) are not. When you used them many times, replacing them to the new location can cause a lot of manual work (especially when the composition is long) regards, Michiel

Hi, Just tested, no problem on my side. Inserting one measure shift the dynamics to the right. Could you test this deeper ? Best regards

I will test it again. Are you using the 'insert one bar' (before current bar) option or is there another way of doing this? Michiel

| I tried as well through "Insert bar" in the ruler menu, as "Edit>Bars>Insert", but dynamics are shifted well for both.

It's not already going 'wrong' when I insert a bar, but when I insert notes into the bar then the notes move and the other objects don't. And inserting notes is the goal of adding a bar, isn't it? Moreover, things like clef changes and time signatures don't move along so some notes are unreadable high and other too low notated, beams don't make sense anymore and some slurs are not displayed I like it. Is there a workaround? regards, Michiel

The other day, I inserted a bar with the ruler, I had no problem, all <, > and tempo changes where shift. The problem occur when I changed time signature of this bar. I'll test again later... but if I remember well, I did : insert a bar between #42 and #43. everything is shift OK. The music is in 4/4, I want my new #43 incomplete. So I add a time signature to the #44 (former #43) : 4/4 and then I add a incomplete 1/4 at #43. And I don't know exactly what happened but my <, > and tempo where moved...
