The very first version of Myriad HQ has just been released.

Myriad HQ is an additional module for our music products. It brings an enhanced audio quality, new option for digital output, and high-quality sounds generated by external plug-ins (VSTi) or by "MyrSynth-Guitar", our pinched string instrument generator.

It downloads and installs along with our music products: Melody Assistant, Harmony Assistant, PDFtoMusic or PDFtoMusic Pro.
In trial mode, it deactivates by itself after a while, and works again if you quit and restart the application.

I purchased Myriad HQ on 28 January, but I never received my license code so that I can activate the full version. Whom can I contact at Myriad for assistance?

Beforehand, check that Myriad's reply (containing the code) has not been sent into the junk mail folder by your e-mail manager (Outlook, Thunderbird or other).
Then, I suggest you try this lady's e-mail : sylvie@myriad-online.com and explain your problem.

I sent a message through the Myriad IM window, and found a reply this morning. The license code never even made it to my "junk" folder, but I asked Sylvie to send the code to another email of mine -- and that message was received. Now I am happily working on my music with the new Myriad HQ module!

Is there a stereo mode available?
All I can hear is mono output.
Or it's a trial limitation?

There must be some kind of issue in that matter.
I'm running a registered version (both HA and HQ) on Windows XP.
I've just tested an instrument both Myriad HQ and Gold Base, turning the pan pot full right or left and I can still hear the sound on the other channel too. If I display the mixer, the stereo seems to be OK for the instrument bargraph, but in the general bargraph the sound outputs on both channels.
I'll ask Myriad people about that.

Pan pot is working perfectly fine.

Many VSTs have stereo samples or any kind of post-production effects using both channels.

I can hear them as mono in Melody Assistant.

I see (or rather hear). However, what I mean is a bit different.
When changing the individual pan pots, there is no real effect on the general output.
For example, I used a single instrument and one staff only. If I set the instrument pan pot fully to the right, and the general pan pot to the mid position, I'd expect the sound to be heard only on the right channel. Actually, I have sound on both channels...
As for stereo VSTs, I haven't tested any of that kind. That's the sort of question only Myriad people can answer, in my opinion.

Soy usuario del modulo HQ y actualmente me ocurre que al editar el instrumento del pentagrama guitarra o bajo en un archivo antiguo me lleva al menú de siempre no pudiendo aplicar efecto HQ.
Solo me deja editar este modo cuando he guardado un archivo anteriormete con efectos HQ

I found that the following Image-line VST plugins are working with Harmony Assistant 9.9.0j apart from Sakura which is already mentioned in the VSTi compatibility table
- DirectWave VSTi
- Drumaxx
- GMS
- Morphine
- PoiZone
- Sawer
- ToxicBioHazard

I don't see Myriad HQ installed with my PDFtoMusic trial! Under Setup everything with Myriad HQ is greyed out.

I may be wrong, but I believe HQ may be a separate license.
