http://webs.lanset.com/jow/adagioGminorAlbinoni.mp3 60's strings (Ensemble) Reconstituted Orchestra (Ensemble) Natural Slow Violin 2 (String & Orchestra) With lowered frequency and resonance to imitate a viola Natural Violin (String & Orchestra) With raised frequency to contrast the imitation viola. Also many notes in the solo violin part have the volume rising effect to soften the attack of this particular voice. Pizzicato Str. 2 (String & Orchestra) Slow Strings 2 (Ensemble) G.Org-Flute ouverte 4' (organ) Swell-Prestant 4' (organ) Ped-Fourniture III (organ)

Mr. Gold has posted elsewhere in the forum but I don't want any new browsers to miss it. Here, therefore, are more original works with the Gold 2 sounds. http://soundclick.com/edwardgold

"Auld Lang Syne" is translated literally as ``old long since'' or more currently as "times gone by." So here's to all that water under the bridge and since we didn't drown in it, happy new year! Http://webs.lanset.com/jow/AuldLangSyne.mp3 The voices are all likely to be modified with some or all of the vibrato, panning and feedback delay effects. Synth Breathy Sax (Reed) Nat. Legato Cello (String & Orchestra) Swell-Voix humaine 8' (Organ) G.Org-Flute chem. 8' (Organ) Natural French Bassoon (Reed) Natural Oboe 2 (Reed) Metal Fantasia (Synth Pad) Natural music box (Chromatic percussion) Natural flute 2 (Pipe) Grand Piano 2 (Piano) The electric distortion guitar from hell consists of two voices with overdrive, wah and flanger effects set to the same extreme values. Overdrive Guitar (Guitar) Natural Clarinet (Reed) I was going to use just a clarinet which made a surprisingly good distortion guitar sound, I thought, but I wasn't happy with it's final high note alone.

"It may sound real but it isn't." I have listened to those tunes with pleasure several times each over the span two years now and I must disagree with your disclaimer at the top. They *are* real, *real* good! I like the development and the variety of orchestration. Those guitar voices are well worked and the tone of the electric voices are pleasant, full bodied and rich. Can I persuade you to explain their creation here in this forum. Are they from the Gold 2 sound base? Are they composites of more than one voice?
