Hi ! Is it possible in the future that we can make an instrument with more than 12 samples. Actually, when we import soundfont, we're limited to 12 imports. --And now in French-- Salut ! Est-ce imaginable dans l'avenir d'étendre le nombre d'import possibles pour une soundfont i.e. plus de 12 ? Sylvain

Hi ! I don't know exactly the number, we should ask other soundfont user how many they want. I think 20 is a good number. But the best is a "unlimited" system like ornament for one note... A limit exists : the number of possible notes on one staff. Sylvain

I agree with Sylvain that it would be great to be able to import more than 12 samples from a Soundfont. The more the better. Some soundfonts have many more than 12 samples for a particular instrument, so to get the full benefit of a soundfont, it would be good to allow for a greater number of samples. Perhaps even as many as the notes on a piano. Regards, Greg

Only a thing that i say in the other topic (maybe im wrong) when you import a soundfont, all the programmer work (filters, reverb, cuttoff and others) is lost? Im not sure, but i think yes, and you must reprogram all with the myriad import ( that are good and rich also). by

Hi, I analysed my code. I can increase the number of sample to 64 without headache. This will change the .mus file format but the program will manage this. But, in my opinion, if you have 12 good samples, at the right notes in the good pitch range of the instrument, it is largely enough. Best regards

Didier, 64 samples sounds great! I hope you will implement this in a future version. Thanks a lot! Greg
