Pour faire des partitions pour des langues qui ne sont pas actuellement supportées par VS, je choisis une langue "proche" et je modifie certaines syllabes en fabriquant des fragments. Actuellement je cherche dans une autre langue le fragment correspondant, mais c'est un long travail par essais et erreurs, et je ne trouve pas toujours la bonne solution, ce qui me conduit à créer des fragments. Un peu de doc sur le sujet me serait d'une grande aide.
Je suppose que ça existe quelque part mais je n'ai pas trouvé où.

Salut,
Mon astuce est d'éditer le chanteur dans la langue source, et dans l'éditeur de fragments, entrer un mot qui, a priori, utilisera ce fragment, puis de cliquer sur le bouton Essayer.
Par exemple, si je veux connaître le nom du fragment du R utilisé en finnois, je met la langue Finnois, j'éditeur le chanteur > les fragments, et j'entre un mot contenant un R, au début ou au milieu.
Le bouton Essayer donne alors les fragments utilisés.

C'est en gros ce que je fais mais je suis tombé sur le problème suivant:
c'est une pièce en estonien, j'ai choisi le finnois, qui est la langue la plus proche, mais elle utilise la voyelle õ décrite ainsi dans Wikipedia:

Je connais une personne qui connait l'estonien, ou au moins sa prononciation, mais je ne sais pas trouver le fragment qui code la première syllabe du mot "kõnnumaa" qui est répété de nombreuses fois dans la pièce.
J'ai fini par trouver dans l'aide de VS la description des fragments présents, mais je ne vois toujours pas comment faire.

il s'agirait du symbole API "Cornes de bélier" ou "petit gamma", "7" en sampa-c
et il serait utilisé en vietnamien - qui est une langue additionnelle en HA.
Je vois trois segments inclus dans le vietnamien et qui ressemblent à un "o": OVT OOVT et peut-être OSVT.
Il utilise un sampa o' pour OVT.

Apparemment, en cherchant dans Wikipedia, il semble que ɤ soit le ъ bulgare, langue supportée par VS, avec une prononciation approximative du e français (sans accent).

Where is the tutorial on fragments ?
I have never seen a menu entry to a "fragment editor".
I cannot find a suitable rendition of the English word "as"
The Sampa rendition [#&] (=a) sounds OK, as does [#z] but the combination [#&z] sounds more like "and".

What is meant here as "fragment editor" is formally called "Advanced voice setup". It is obtained from "Edit Singer" (eg the singing bird icon in the complete mixer), then "Edit Voice", tag "Advanced", and "Edit fragments".
Than being said, it is very (very) hard to make meaningful changes in this editor, it requires quite some understanding of the "formants".
In the manual, there is a link to a reference on the theory behind this matter, but when I went there recently it wasn't answering anymore.
I don't see anything wrong in how "as" [#&z] is rendered, and didn't hear "and". Now, words should perhaps not be listened to when not in a sentence of an expression. I'm quite sure "as" isn't sung the same before a "b", a vowel or a "p".

Thank you for this explanation: I now understand why this sounds OK for you, but sounds like "and " to me.
The word was previously "and", but I had changed the lyrics.
The old word is "stuck", glued, frozen, set in cement.
I have changed it from "as" to "ex" and it is still sung as "and" !!!
I have deleted the word, deleted and re-written the note and the word, deleted all lyrics and re-pasted and it is still sung as "and!"
