He intentado enviar la Partitura Encore, y se rechaza el envío, como "invalid Format"

Best is to pack it in a zip. ALternatively, rename it to something.mus

.mus is valid as well for encore as for Harmony

The HA Score that I have sent offers several peculiarities:

The Encore Score has 4 voices (SATB) and one accompanist bass:
when the HA is displayed, the message "computing 17 voices" appears

I try to reproduce it in HA as Bass Choir: I choose the voice "Male Choir", but it is too sharp; I try to lower it an octave and it does not respond.

Jose,

I had an eye (and an ear) to your score, first without change anything. You mentioned that you didn't hear any song, but I hear it without trouble (provided volume is high enough).

What I think is best to do first, is to mark the last staff as "no lyrics", so that one could hear a clear piano sound.  Do that though the menus: "Pentagramas", "aspecto grafico", untick "pentagrama con letras".

Don't worry with the 17 voices (14 with the above change). On bars 187 to 188, there are that many different notes at the same time, that's internally considered as separate voices.

I see two strange things:
The first staff is "fusionado", but the second voice is empty, and the 1st voice is inactive. That can explain that you don't hear the first staff. But this does not happen for the others.
On the last staff, there are (at same bar 185) some lyrics "felt over" from the staff above.

These two things might very well be caused by a wrong interpretation of the Encore source - I'll look at that when I get it.

What are known deficiencies in the Encore import are:
- the staves appear in random order.
- the staff names of the first source staff is truncated to one characted (here "S"), while the others disappear completely.
These two elements are typical to import from V5, not V4.

Agradezco vuestra ayuda

GRACIAS !

ANDRE

Many thanks for your coments

I realized that: when imported from Encore, staffs lost their order  SATB, and also the letter -except S-

I sended to you the original Encore

THANKS !

He conseguido mejor resultado (en lugar de importar Encore desde HA) pasando la partitura Encore a pdf (Imprimir, PDFCreator), y abriendola desde PdfToMusic; guardándola, y abriéndola con HA.

Desconocía que tenías Pdf to Music. Efectivamente, casi siempre se consiguen mejores resultados.
Suerte.

Indeed, this is an excellent solution too - and the reason that "direct read" isn't followed nowadays. And this is true for all source products which aren't able to produce a decent MusicXML export.

I still prefer direct read when the source is Encore V4, what I use for any brand new input.
