I have several staffs in my document but I only want VS to sing on one of them. It either sings on all of them or none. I used to know how to do it but got an updated version of MA and can't figure it out now. Can someone help me out? -Thanks
Actually, there are several ways of muting a singer. The easiest is : 1- open VS window 2- Double-click on the singer you want to mute. 3- in the singer's edit box, here is a checkbox just above the picture representing the singer (singer active). Uncheck it. 4- OK Note that in that case the singer's voice will be replaced by the instrument associated to the staff, so here is a second way of muting the singer/staff : 1- have the control handles on if they are not (Ctrl+T) 2- in the icon bar, in the staff left margin, click on the small green icon representing a loudspeaker. It then turns red and the staff is muted (both instrument and singer)
