how to stop in-breaths in real singer

Hello, Is there a way to stop rests from playing an in-breath before the next note in real singer? I've created my own RS voice but don't want it to play breaths. FYI - The Aspiration for the voice is not shown in bold text in Edit Fragments, so I'm assuming it's not being used. Thanks for the help. Roberto

On peut mettre un appui < à 100%, par exemple 70 ou 80% sur la note précédent la respiration. Cela "raccourcira" cette note et laissera un petit temps de pause avant la note suivante. Suricate

Sorry, I have some difficulties with english. You can put a pressure time < 100%, for example 70 or 80% on the note situated before the aspiration of the voice. The effect will be to reduce the effective duration of this note, and consequently you will have a short time without sound-voice before the next note. Suricate

Thank you. I understand perfectly now. However my problem is with rests. I want to stop rests from playing a breath. There is no pressure time available for rests.

Yes, their is no pressure time available for rests. But you can add a fermata at a rest. The possible duration of the fermata is from 50 to 400%. Of course, the effect of pressure time and fermata is not the same. Is it the solution for your problem ? Suricate

Thanks, I just experimented with attaching a fermata to the rest and adjusting the percentages. However this has no effect on the in breath sounding just before the following note. I actually wonder if I should be trying to delete the in breath from the real singer voice, but I don't know how to do that in fragment edit. Roberto

In the VS voice selector Click Edit Voice Advanced panel Edit fragments Locate the ASP fragment (end of list) Rename it AAA Best regards
