What kind of answer do you expect?
Set the vibrato power for all singers to 0, 10, 20 and 40. If you don't hear any difference between these settings, then I can't be of any help...

Olivier , this is the problem (has always been)
0 to 3 gives zero to full vibrato, 3 to 100 makes no difference.
0 to 3 doesn't allow any noticable difference.
Sorry, but what kind of question did you expect under these circumstances ? sorry if it bugs you.

Hello

Are we speaking of the vibrato settings in the Virtual Singer Edit Voice/Vibrato tab? I hope that we are, because that is where I set vibrato for voices. There are more than one knob to be set in that tab. The Depth knob will best control how much vibrato we hear. But, the other knobs are also important.

We must try different vibrato settings before we can say which is best for the voice that we are using, the music that we are creating and the tempo of the music.

I agree with Tom (#19). The voice vibrato should be controlled using adjustments to several different values.

Here is (attached) an MP3 file of the same voice singing "Ah" four times.
The only difference between these 4 sounds is the vibrato power, set respectively to 21, 11, 8 and 0
All other parameters have been left unchanged.
I hear a difference between each.

Just for fun:
Myself (erm, in fact, my voice through RealSinger ) singing "Nessun Dorma" in Italian. The attached file is an MP3 mono at 40 kbps.
Thanks, Robert_A, for the score and the lyrics!!

Here are the lyrics for this part:

Nessun dorma, Nessun dorma!

Some adjustments have still to be made to the voice, but I start to be more and more comfortable with the way to record "operatic" vowels.

I also hear differences in the "Ah", too.
As for the mp3.file, I must say it is quite good.
Now, I'd like to say that among other consonants, the initial "R" is the one I find most difficult to cope with. On the other hand the "Sp" sounds much more realistic.
Very good sound overall.

Magnificent. Much better than my own (whether using Robert_A. or VirtualRobert).

Yes, the SP is better.

As for the R : Look at the settings in VirtualRobert. The Italian (and German) roll should be set longer than the default, and the Latin roll should be set less than the default. (In my humble opinion.)

When done, Olivier's rendition should be placed on my demos page !

Problem in rolled R is a problem with me, I'm afraid:  I can't easily produce this sound, and the recording is quite complex too.

For the latin rolled R, I kept the Virtual Singer phoneme, but for the Italian one, the result wasn't that good, and I tried to record it. I'll now have to clean my computer screen from the sprays of spit

What I tried with vowels is to start pronouncing them softly, without voice effect, then increase the "operatic effect". Thus, this transition is captured and enables to produce long notes in which the singer's voice becomes more and more powerful.

... and, I cannot produce the French R.

If necessary, copy the Italian R from VirtualRobert (it is the VS Italian R, adjusted).

I never tried recording soft-to-operatic voice. It makes sense. Since I do not sing solo, I did not give much thought to how the "operatic" sound is produced.

Hello

Olivier's "Nessun Dorma" is very good.

The voice quality on the first two words made me think of tenor Jussi Bjoerling.

If we are to expect more improvements to the voice (it will get better ), I will wait before I download the voice. But, it is difficult to wait.
