Tu penses à un glossaire ou plutôt à un lexique ? Dans le cas d'un lexique, il y a un très bon freeware qui permet d'en faire.

The language issue was discussed many times on this board. It was decided by he Guillon Bros, that English WAS NOT the only language of this board, it was ONE of the languages used on it. And to my knowledge, unless they have changed their mind very recently, nothing has changed. C'est la vie mon ami!

I'm just asking nicely. If you want to use French when you can perfectly well use English than its pretty unfair if not downright rude...

Cordialement

| Why use English when you can perfectly use French? I sure will try to avoid speaking English to another French speaking person like me!!! There are many people on this board whose mother tongue is French and others whose mother tongue is not French but they do understand it and not English. I believe that they also have every rights to have some French even from someone who can speak English very well. Trying to have everything in English even from those who are not limited to just that language is pretty unfair to everyone else who doesn't have the knowledge of the English language. En français SVP?

Quote: Hello Dewdman, I will astonish you, but enormously of persons are not English-speaking... This is not of course impolite to speak More english, More spanish or More german but has well opposite, to show cultural variety. When everyone will speak English, will eat to the "eats fast", and will look at only hollywood films, it is pale and sad. Of more the educational virtues of this message kind are undeniable, you can realize by yourself of this than one can feel when one reads messages in English where the person did not do no effort to use a vocabulary and a simple syntax... Cordially |
| Though many europeans would like to think so...especially French people it would seem.. we single-language-speaking Americans are NOT stupid. we are, however impaired by only a single language. I used a website to roughly translate what you said...and also to look at some of the others..and much of it is very useful information for all of us. If you want to market and sell an international product, please try to encourage international language.. Obviously..sometimes that is not possible....and I don't mean to alienate anyone. but lately there has been a lot of blatant french posts..and it can only be assumed that for the most part the french speaking people, including the authors of the program are simply being too lazy to write in a common language that people from most countries do in fact know how to speak.. I'm quite sure there are far more people using HA that know english then there are people that only know french. If you wish for your product to be primarily a French product and the rest of us get limited support, then by all means continue with your French and the rest of us will pick up the crumbs of what is left. If you wish to have an international product, then use the the closest thing to a currently accepted international language...ENGLISH. This is not to say that English is better than french. I'm not saying that all. Only that you are alienating many of your customers by sticking with french..and some of the posts I see are from people who speak and write english quite well...and the posts are about support issues interesting to all of us. Thank you very much.

The same old attitude is showing up for the 4th time, hey? You go by 2 rules it seems: rule #1: you are always right, and rule number 2, in case of doubt, rule #1 applies, and PLEASE, don't confuse me with the facts, my mind is already made up. Good luck Steevie boy, you'll need it!
