I am learning to play several recorders, alto, tenor and bass. I play with two large early music consorts. I use Sibelius First to create multi part music ( S A T B) and I want to play with the music I create in Sibelius. I want the parts to sound like the actual instruments. Sibelius First only has soprano and alto recorders. I see that Gold Sound Base has the recorders I want to use in playback. Can I use GSB with PDFtoMusic? Can I contol which parts play back so that I can play the missing part with the playback? For example, the music has alto and tenor and bass lines. I want to play the alto part with the playback tenor and bass. Then I would like to mute the tenor part and I would play the tenor part. Does this make sense? Can I use PDFtoMusic with Gold Sound Base to do this?
PDFtoMusic converts PDF files to editable, playable scores. To be able to play them with the GOLD Base, you'll need a software to adjust instruments, mute parts, etc.
For this, you can use Melody Assistant + Gold Base.
Please contact me if you need an example of the conversion/playback result.
Thanks for the quick answer. Will Melody or Harmony Assistant read .sib files generated by Sibelius?
Si usted hace una exportación .xml desde Sibelius, la podrá abrir, escuchar y editar con Melody Assistant o Harmony Assistant. Directamente no se puede.
