Hallo I create a Czech Phonetic file for the script OtherLanguages. I must just test it and search for the optimal speech sounds. Could someone send me list of the supported SAMPA codes?

This sites I know. Unfortunately the Czech SAMPA described in http://www.phon.ucl.ac.uk/home/sampa/czech-uni.htm employs other symbols for some of phonemes than Virtual Singer. (J\, Q\, P\, Q\, c, ...) Therefore I want to have complete list of the Virtual Singer - supported SAMPA codes.

| I don't think OtherLanguages uses SAMPA codes: you have to define the sounds through fragment notation. See the Edit Voice > Advanced > Edit Fragments dialogue. -- Steve -- Steve

By the way... the next concert of my choir includes a song in Czech What is the process for including that file, telling VS that the song is in Czech, etc.? I suppose there is a "how to" document somewhere?

It's possible through the "Virtual Singer > Other languages" script of Harmony Assistant. Here is how to proceed: - Copy the file "Czech.txt" to the directory "C:\Program Files\Harmony Assistant\Scripts\Virtual Singer\Other languages" - In Harmony Assistant, select the "Other languages" script. Czech has been added to the list. Apply this language to a score file that contains Czech lyrics. Best Regards,

Hallo There are my new version of the Czech Phonetic file. I adjusted some of the fragments. It sounds much better. I am still searching for the ideal group of fragments for the letter T with caron. This sound like the "TJ" in the Russian word "KATJUSHA" (Катюша) I used this "GLST+JY" but it is not accurate. Could somebody help me to find the right sound?

However no. "T2+Y" where my first trial. It sounds like the 2 sounds. I am looking for something like soft "T". T + Y but together. It must sound softly directly since the beginning.
